This unique and creative apple snack is probably one of the best back to school easy to do snacks for toddlers that you can make for your child. They are silly, fun, and healthy– the kids will absolutely love the gummy worm!
Wash the apple, then core it before cutting it in half horizontally.
Next, cut the marshmallow in half horizontally and stuff it into the cut apple (one half into the top and bottom of the apple to keep the peanut butter from oozing).
Using the heavy-duty straw or a sharp knife, cut a small hole onto the side of the apple that’s big enough to insert a gummy worm.
Place the gummy worm into the hole you’ve just cut out, leaving a bit to stick out of the apple.
Fill out the remaining center of the apple using peanut butter.
This recipe promises a Greek yogurt banana bread that is creamy, moist, and delicious. Made with the perfect balance of creamy yogurt, ripe bananas, vanilla, and a dash of chocolate chips, how can it not be perfect for your kids?
Here’s how you’ll add this recipe to your kid’s list of snacks for school:
Ingredients:
3 bananas, mashed
¼ cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
¾ cup sugar
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees then grease a 9×5 inch loaf or bread pan and set aside.
Using a stand mixer or in a large bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, mashed banana, applesauce, and sugar until they’re well combined. Now mix in the eggs and vanilla.
Add in the salt, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon, then mix until they’re just combined. This means that you should stop mixing when there are no streaks of flour left.
Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Place in the oven and bake for about 55 to 65 minutes or until the top turns golden and an inserted toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Let the bread cool completely before removing it from the pan and slicing.
Store in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Dissolve the yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in a small bowl with 1 ¼ cup warm water and let it stand for about 10 minutes until creamy.
