Inclusive workplaces in Ukraine
How to start a conversation with a person with limb loss when all the words seem inappropriate? Along with the Superhumans Center, BetterMe has created a course to improve the culture of inclusive workspaces.
You will learn how to express emotions in an environmentally friendly way, build a dialogue and master the skills of managing their own feelings in communication with people with amputations.
Stress management
self-help tool
When First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska started a National Program of Mental Health “How are you?,” BetterMe joined in.
The result? An online training course “Doing What Matters in Times of Stress”, developed with WHO Ukraine and NGO “Barrier-Free,” and thousands of Ukrainians learning how to cope with stress daily.
Uniquely accessible limb loss workouts
BetterMe teamed up with bionic prosthetic hand producer Esper Bionics and Charitable Foundation “Future for Ukraine,” to design a training program for people with amputations.
With input from professional Ukrainian and American rehab specialists, you can find this program in BetterMe: Health Coaching app.
Helping kids handling the stress of war
In collaboration with UNICEF Ukraine, BetterMe: Mental Health provides tips on helping our most vulnerable ones – kids — handle the stress of war.
This includes games for adults to play with children, helping them focus away from the sounds of sirens and explosions.
Providing resources for online PE lessons
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine recommended using the BetterMe: Health Coaching app for remote school PE lessons.
Now, getting exercise is just a tap away for all the students!
Protecting sleep with audio fairy tales
BetterMe teamed up with well-known Ukrainian host and actress Olena Kravets to release a set of audio bedtime stories by modern Ukrainian writers in BetterMe: Mental Health.
These stories soothe Ukrainian listeners and ensure a restful sleep.
Charity collection of sportswear
BetterMe gives all the profits from their charity sportswear sales to charity partner projects.
These donations have supported Esper Bionics with manufacturing veterans' prosthetics, aided NGO “Zemlyachky” in making female-tailored military uniforms, and helped UNITED24 buy an ambulance.
Making Ukrainians more productive at work
BetterMe joins forces with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and First Lady’s mental health support initiative “How are you?” to launch a national program.
Ukrainian businesses now have free access to both BetterMe apps, packed with productivity-boosting features.
