According to the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2020 &#8211; 2025,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> adult women and men should consume 1,600 to 2,400 calories and 2,000 to 3,000 calories per day respectively (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietaryguidelines.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-12\/Dietary_Guidelines_for_Americans_2020-2025.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For weight loss, researchers recommend a calorie deficit of 500 to 750 calories (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC8017325\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). If we look at the rules of this eating plan, it can be seen that you\u2019ll be eating too few calories.
